Sellmark Corporation Ranks High Among America’s Fastest Growing Companies
Inc. magazine ranked Sellmark No. 2154 on its 2012 Inc. 500|5000 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a comprehensive look at an important segment of the economy, America’s independent entrepreneurs. Sellmark joins Yelp, yogurt maker Chobani, Giftcards.com, KIND Healthy Snacks and famed hat maker Tilly’s among other prominent brands featured on the 2012 list.
“Sellmark would like to thank our dealers for helping customers discover our brands and products. Without our team none of this would be possible,” said CEO Dianna Sellers. “This honor is a testament to what a small group from Texas, dedicated to providing a superior value in outdoor consumer products, can achieve by working together.”
Sellmark is ranked in the top 100 companies in the Dallas Metro area, an area that has experienced unprecedented growth in the last three years. This position is proof of the strength and growth of this exploding company.
In a stagnant economic environment, the average growth rate of 2012 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains an impressive 97 percent. These companies report having created over 400,000 jobs in the past three years and their combined revenue among the honorees reached $299 billion. In order to be considered for ranking on the Inc. 500|5000 list, a company must prove sales growth for the previous three years.
"Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500|5000 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs and drive the economy forward,” said Inc. Editor Eric Schurenberg. “Growing companies, not large corporations, are where the action is.”
