Sellmark® Appoints Carlos Sanchez Director of Trade Compliance
(MANSFIELD, TEXAS) – Sellmark Corporation®, a growing Mansfield-based company firmly rooted in hunting, shooting and outdoor product marketing, is proud to announce the addition of Carlos Sanchez to the company’s ranks. “Carlos brings a wealth of experience and know-how to our team in an area fundamental to our international success,” stated Sellmark President James Sellers.
Sanchez, a former employee with the company, returned to lead Sellmark’s compliance efforts – an integral part of the company’s international interests. Sanchez is responsible for overseeing import/export logistics and ensuring all shipments and activities are in compliance with current government laws and regulations.
Home to Sightmark®, Firefield®, Pulsar, 12 Survivors™ and Southern Crossbow™, Sellmark manufactures a wide array of products from day and nighttime hunting optics, military-inspired weapons accessories, camping and survival gear, to crossbows. These brands represent several markets growing in more than 50 countries and many quality retailers in every state. Sellmark recently underwent a $2 million expansion, doubling the facility in size to keep up with growth.
I’m glad to be back and am optimistic about our future as a growing company with great potential both domestically and internationally.” Sanchez adds, “While I don’t hunt or fish, I grew up shooting and love the outdoors. I’m excited to join efforts with integrity-driven, like-minded folks.”
Previous to his new role, Sanchez managed trade compliance for four years at a Fort Worth-based electro component and mechanical parts distributor. A native of Colombia, Sanchez currently lives in Fort Worth and enjoys spending time outside of work with his 5-year-old son.
